Title : Necessity of ethics in education and measuring compliance of nursing students to it in modares hospital in Tehran, Iran

Education is the fundamental mission of any university and educational institution. Compliance with ethical principles would guarantee peace of mind, feeling secure and excellence of students and faculties.
The science of ethics discusses about conscious search of positive values, doing good things and avoiding wrong doings.
Ethics in workplace is one of the essential terms and conditions of any job. Since educational environments and specially universities have important role in educating individuals and guiding societies toward excellence, the importance of ethics among nursing students as an import community in the clinical settings becomes more prominent.
Ethics in education includes all stages that skills, abilities and other positive factors are reinforced.
Ethics has a bidirectional relation with education. Education requires ethics and one of the most important educational topics is how to extend and promote ethics in the society.
Findings of this study demonstrates that although ethics in nursing education is very important, study participants believed that the level of compliance to it in their setting was not satisfactory.
? Therefore, we suggest that future studies to focus on the underlying and influencing factors of this low compliance.
