Bobson Derrick Fofanah, Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Officer.
Mr. Bobson Derrick Fofanah is a certified nurse anaesthetist and public health officer currently working for the World Health Organization (WHO) Sierra Leone as an IPC National Professional Officer, providing related technical support to the national IPC, and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) programs of the Ministry of Health (MoH), and other partner organizations in Sierra Leone. Mr. Fofanah holds a Higher Diploma in State Registered Nursing, a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and a postgraduate diploma in anaesthesia and an advanced certificate in Infection Control. Mr. Fofanah had experience in both clinical and public health practice at the national and sub-national levels. He is an effective trainer and educator with excellent team working and program coordination skills. He is also serving as a member of the Incident Management Team (IMT) and Rapid Response Teams (RRT) for EVD, Lassa fever, COVID-19, Measles, and other infectious disease outbreaks.
