Biography:
Francine Bench Jensen is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Utah Valley University where she teaches in the associate and bachelor’s programs and holds an administrative role as the Program Coordinator for Undergraduate Programs. Her nursing practice is in gastrointestinal, telemetry, emergency, and trauma nursing. She has presented at international nursing conferences in Tallin, Estonia, the Netherlands, and nationally. Her research interests include hospice care for people experiencing homelessness, improving engagement for students in the classroom, and developing the cultural competence of nursing students. Francine received her PhD from the University of Utah and her Master’s in nursing education from George Mason University.
