Biography:
Andrea Cappon, MS, RN, CV-BC, AACC, is the Chest Pain Coordinator for University of Rochester Medicine Cardiac Care in Rochester, New York. She has more than 15 years of nursing experience and holds a Master of Science in Leadership in Health Care Systems. She is board certified in cardiac-vascular nursing and was recently inducted as an Associate of the American College of Cardiology. Her professional interests include cardiovascular quality improvement, accreditation, population health, community outreach, nursing leadership, and disease prevention. She leads multidisciplinary initiatives that expand access to cardiovascular education, screening, and CPR training.
