Biography:
April Phelps, DNP, RN, CNL, is a nurse educator and academic leader at the University of New Hampshire School of Nursing, Army Nurse Veteran, and accomplished clinician-educator. Her work is grounded in public health and focused on improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, innovation, and interprofessional collaboration. Dr. Phelps has been recognized with the New Hampshire Excellence in Nursing award and remains active in clinical practice as a New Hampshire Health Officer. She is also engaged in nursing policy and advocacy through leadership roles with the New Hampshire Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, and several public health and emergency response organizations.
