Biography:
Deanna Lanier, MPH, BSN, RN, is a Registered Nurse with the clinical contact center at the Veterans Health Administration in Asheville, NC, with 11 years of VHA experience. As a Rural Scholar Fellow with the Office of Rural Health, her work focuses on transportation barriers facing rural Veterans. She is a member of the Asheville Clinical Inquiry and Research shared governance council and the Nursing Data and Research Consortium Community of Practice. Her abstract, "Enhancing VetRide data quality within the VA to identify transportation barriers among rural veterans," was accepted for oral presentation at the 2026 VAQS Summer Institute Conference
