Biography:
Dr. Dinah Makuba Kassaman is a Kenya Registered Nurse and Midwife with over 24 years of experience in nursing education, clinical practice, and research. She is an Assistant Professor at the Aga Khan University School of Nursing and Midwifery (AKU-SONAM), where she teaches and supervises undergraduate and graduate nursing students. She holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of Salford (UK) and a Master of Nursing (Clinical and Education) from the University of Dundee (UK). Her doctoral research focused on health literacy in breast and cervical cancer, emphasizing women’s understanding of screening, early detection, and preventive health behaviors in low-resource settings.
