Biography:
Dr. Ekta Ram is an early-career public health researcher with an interdisciplinary background in occupational health and non-communicable diseases. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (PHFI) and currently works as a Project Research Scientist-I at the ICMR–National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad. Her research focuses on occupational heat stress, work-related health interventions, systematic reviews, and mixed-methods studies addressing health challenges among informal women workers. She has contributed to research publications and conference presentations on nurse stress, urban heat island impacts, and occupational health. As an early-career researcher, attending this conference is important for her to disseminate her work, engage with international experts, build collaborative networks, and strengthen her academic and professional development in public health.
