Ellen Yeo

Biography:

Ellen Yeo is a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Renal Medicine and Kidney Transplant Research at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA), part of Sydney Local Health District (SLHD), in Sydney, Australia. She leads the development of the ACE Pathway Orientation Programme for Clinical Research Nurses and Midwives to address workforce gaps in clinical trials nursing. Her leadership in this initiative was formally recognized when she was awarded the Emerging Leadership Award at the 2025 Sydney Excellence Awards. She also received the Excellence in Clinical Trial Support Award in 2024 at the Sydney Innovation and Research Symposium. Ellen is also the Creative Lead for Weathering Blue (supported by Screen NSW), a narrative game exploring nurse burnout and renewal. Her work spans education, mentorship, and system-level reforms to strengthen research nursing across the district and beyond.
