Biography:
Elyssa Turner earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2015 and began her career in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Houston Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Western Governors University in 2023 and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Educational Leadership. Elyssa serves as a Professional Practice Leader in the DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center, focusing on clinical education, competency development, and advancing nursing practice to support high-quality patient care.
