Biography:
Kait Soudelier, a registered nurse, has spent the first six years of her career as a certified critical care nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She has gained firsthand experience of the necessity for peer support, psychological first aid, and self-care practices, as well as the impact of the second victim phenomenon. Kait has completed training as a Second Victim Peer Supporter through the RISE program and feels privileged to be serving as the Program Manager for Staff Support, providing additional support and a safe space to her colleagues, peers, and team members after unanticipated patient-related events.
