Monica M Loperena

Biography:

Monica M. Loperena is a bedside emergency nurse at Bayshore Medical Center with over eight years of experience. In her six years in emergency care, she has served as a preceptor and charge nurse. Monica is the Chair of the Professional Practice Council, where she leads hospital-wide improvement initiatives. She has implemented numerous key projects, including a Nurse-Driven Ultrasound-Guided IV course and the innovative bedside nurse leadership program. She has presented her work at multiple conferences and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Emergency Care at Rutgers University.
