Biography:
Providence has been a nurse for 24 years and holds a Masters in Nursing with an emphasis on Education. Throughout her career, she has served as a registered nurse in the medical, surgical and step down units, nurse supervisor, manager, charge nurse and as nurse educator. She has received multiple recognitions for service excellence, selected as best educational presenter in 2014, and participates on several committees (policy and procedure, infection control, RQI, Professional Practice Council, UBC co-chair). In addition, she has received a prestigious service recognition for the last five consecutive years and has maintained a Clinical Ladder level 4.
