Biography:
Rolando Uranga was born on 17 August 1973 in Havana, Cuba. He graduated with a degree in Mathematics in 1998, a Master of Science in Probability and Statistics in 2004, a Master of Science in Biostatistics in 2011, and a PhD in Mathematics in 2020. All of these degrees were awarded by the University of Havana, Cuba. He has worked as a Biostatistician at the National Centre for Clinical Trials of Cuba since 1998. His scientific rank is Auxiliary Investigator. His current research interests include longitudinal conditional models with missing data, methods for handling missing data in clinical studies, and sequential designs. He was a visiting researcher at Hasselt University, Belgium, in 2011, 2013, and 2019.
