Biography:
Zaib un Nisa is a researcher and PhD candidate in Psychology specialising in global mental health in Pakistan. Her work focuses on psychosocial interventions for severe mental illness, including early psychosis, schizophrenia, and perinatal mental health. She has experience in mixed-methods research, intervention development, and implementation science in low-resource settings. Zaib has contributed to projects supporting sbereaved mothers, breast cancer survivors, and individuals with multimorbidity. She is actively involved in co-producing community-based interventions and training health workers in mental health care and research methods. She has also served as visiting faculty at Jinnah University for Women.
