Title : Nursing practices based on evidence in maintaining successful breastfeeding
Abstract:
Although feeding with mother’s milk is common, there are problems with the correct application. Although some problems are unavoidable, evidence-based practice recommendations are taken into consideration in the maintenance of breastfeeding and if applied, a successful breastfeeding will be provided. It is important to be based on evidence to improve the quality of care and the results of care, to make difference in clinical applications and patient care results, to standardize care, to increase patient and nurse satisfaction. The aim of this study is to describe the practices of female obstetrician nurses in maintaining successful breastfeeding and the evidence-based guidelines in maintaining successful breastfeeding.
