Biography:

Lana Wilhelm was a registered nurse for over 40 years with a focus on helping patients making the transition from hospital to home. When her spouse experienced a stroke in 2021, she began her mission to help others caring for a loved one through her organization, Stroke Caregiver Connection. With her nursing knowledge and real-life experiences, she has found insightful strategies that work. She is the author of Stroke and the Spouse and Stroke and the Caregiver and a recipient of the American Heart Association’s Stroke Hero Awards - Caregiver Hero in 2025.
