Biography:
Fatimah Conteh is a registered nurse with two years of experience in inpatient adult and geriatric psychiatry. She is a recipient of two bachelor’s degrees: her first being a bachelor’s of arts in Biology and second being a bachelor’s of science in nursing. Fatimah has a background in West Nile Virus research via rearing and DNA extraction of Culex pipiens mosquitoes. She also developed for the first blood feeding manual and rearing guide for Aedes aegypti mosquitoes at the University of Maine. Fatimah Conteh is presently pursuing a master’s degree in psychiatric mental health nursing practice and will graduate in May of 2023. Upon graduation and certification, she intends to practice as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in adult inpatient psychiatry.
