Biography:
Marissa Lozano, RN is a dedicated nursing professional with over 7 years of experience in cardiology and critical care. Currently serving as a Nursing Program Coordinator at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, she plays a pivotal role in developing the Cardiothoracic Surgical Program. Her clinical expertise includes advanced skills in heart recovery, ECMO, ventricular assist devices, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and hemodynamic monitoring systems. Marissa has served as a shift coordinator, preceptor for students and new graduates, and Professional Governance Chair. A graduate of Western Governors University with a BSN, she holds certifications in ACLS, BLS, and Basic Arrhythmia Recognition. Her passion lies in advancing patient care and mentoring future nursing leaders.
