Biography:
Dr. Matteo Simioni studied nursing at the University of Padua and graduated with a master’s degree in 2019. He worked in different contests, such as: medical area at the Leeds Teaching University Hospital (UK), orthopedics and traumatologists at hub centres in ASST Cremona and Azienda Ospedale-Università di Padova, finally at Emergency Department and rescue ambulance service of Azienda ULSS 6 Euganea. Currently works as tutor of the degree course in nursing at the University of Padua (Monselice’s campus) on behalf of the Azienda ULSS 6 Euganea, and Erasmus referent for the campus. Lecturer at the University of Padua ("Nursing in surgical area"), and carries out other external training roles (e.g., to extra-Europe nurses, to healthcare assistant). He became a visiting professor in 2023 at HVL, Haugesund’s campus, and held a lesson on internationalization. Supervisor of several bachelor's nursing students, one of the last in chronological order has been Dr. Giacomo Favaro, with whom we worked on a thesis about critical issues and management of women victims of violence who access the emergency department.
