Biography:
Dr. Stephanie Hodges, DNP, MSN, FNP-BC, is a Professor of Nursing with more than 25 years of clinical experience and over 18 years in nursing education across multiple program levels in a variety of teaching settings. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who maintains active clinical practice. Dr. Hodges’ scholarly interests include nursing education, global health nursing, and mental health nursing, with a focus on suicide awareness and prevention. Her clinical practice emphasizes chronic disease management, particularly obesity and comprehensive health and wellness. Dr. Hodges’ scholarly work includes peer-reviewed scholarship and leadership of funded academic and community-based initiatives. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
