The study will utilize a quantitative correlational research design. The research respondents of this study will be: (1) head nurses of various nursing units of the government hospitals in Hail City using the modified MLQ developed by Bass and Avolio (2000); and (2) staff nurses who will rate their job satisfaction using the WQI 38-scale questionnaire by Whitley & Putzier, (1994). Purposive sampling will be employed to generate samples from the group of staff nurses and selective sampling will be employed to the group of nurse managers. Data will be gathered from September to November 2022 and statistical analysis will be performed using SPSS version 24.
